BBC – History – Interactive Content
If you didn’t already know that The BBC is the world’s premier Public Service Network, then take a look at their interactive content on the history pages.
The newest addition is an adventure game in 4 parts, called Death in Sakkara, set in 1929 when egyptian culture and mysticism was all the rage in Europe.
The game is quite simple, but I, for one, couldn’t solve the first serious puzzle without consulting the BBC website :-[ – luckily help is available – and if you register, you get a code which enables you to save your progress.
There are other small games on the BBC history site, of the ones I played, I particularly liked the Pyramid Challenge.
