Artists Network of Refuse & Resist!

Artists Network (AN) are attempting to create a community/network of Artists dedicated to creating a “Culture of Resistance”.

The extensive AN manifesto, or “Principles”, can be found here.

Even though I don’t subscribe to all their views, I find a lot of their works “important”.

I discovered the AN site by surfing the web from a BBC article on a controversial interpretation of Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous “The Last Supper” painting. I then linked to the AN site indirectly, by following a link to another controversial interpretation of “The Last Supper”, “Yo Mama’s Last Supper”.
